Model: N400 Cell Phone
Operating System: Windows 98SE (Note: might work with other versions of this os.)
File: Samsung_N400_-_USB_Data_Cable_Hydra_-_Device_Drivers__Snapdial.zip
Comments:
To install Unzip the files onto your harddrive. Plug the Hydra cable's RED connector into the computer's USB port and the other end into the Samsung cell phone. (Note the Green connected is only used for Snapsync, which I don't use that software and isn't included here.)
The computer should see the new device and ask you to install the drivers. (If it doesn't, you may have to reboot your system.) Point the installation system to the folder containing the drivers and complete the install. Then run "Setup" to install the Snapdial dialer, which will place a new "dial-up" adapter icon on the desktop.
Afterwards I unstalled Snapdial's software and now I only use a standard dial-up adapter.
When I'm on the road, it's VERY handy to be able to access the internet by connecting the cell phone to the notebook.
