Run the self-extracting zip file, then run the setup.exe. This installs the driver.
restart when prompted.
connect the camera (set to play)
login as administrator
Add hardware wizard should start and finish the install. it didn't start for me as i had already installed the win 98 drivers, in which case just go to the device manager and reinstall the driver.
