Phoenix Desknote USB Driver

This is normally used with a notebook computer.

I got this to use with a VIA Mini ITX motherboard (no floppy on board). It didn't work at first. I tried it on other computers with floppy drives and the driver worked. (A lot of good that did me.)

Here is the solution

1) Unplug drive and remove driver.

2) Keep rebooting until A disappears

3) Run the USBFDD.EXE (from Sony)

4) Plug in the USB drive

5) Let it install the driver now.

The program from Sony prepares the OS for the floppy "port" even though there is no drive present. This program is not from desknote and is not a USB Driver--It only prepares Windows 9X.

The .INF file is the one that came with my drive.
